Communicating With Meaning While Maximizing Influence and Power

What separates good leaders from great leaders is their ability to communicate effectively and their capacity to understand and maximize their power.

In this workshop, we will examine the following key questions:

• What are some of the obstacles to effective communication?
• How do we communicate with meaning to our constituents?
• How can we maximize our power while minimizing conflict with peers, supervisors, and subordinates?
• What lessons can we learn from professional communicators (from various fields) about preparing speeches, interviewing subjects, and ultimately getting our message across with minimal confusion?

This will be a practical and interactive session designed to help us sharpen the messages we construct and send to our audiences every day.
