Transformational Leadership

(Non-Profit Organization- Version)

A good leader is able to push their staff to complete necessary transactions in an efficient manner. However, a transformational leader elevates expectations, motivates and inspires employees to achieve a higher level of performance, in a positive self-reinforcing environment.

In the public sector leaders face major financial constraints (austerity measures) and contractual rules that limit their decision-making options. It is therefore even more vital to tap into motivational strategies that speak to the core values shared by employees.

In this workshop, we will examine the following key questions:

  • What are the key traits of the transformational leader?
  • How can we use our power more effectively?
  • What role does Emotional Intelligence play?
  • How can we engage our employees to achieve a successful common vision?

This will be a practical and interactive session designed to highlight effective models and to share best practices.
